We glean many of our resources from local dumpsters, but there is some stuff that we just need to borrow or have donated.
Cardboard is God to puppetistas!!
Large sheets of clean cardboard (bicycle boxes or appliance boxes...at least 10-20 sheets...but, no little ones!)
(for puppet frames, banners, flags, drum sticks, etc.)
1*1,1*2, and/or 2*4’s, molding, dowels; longish pieces
Plywood and saw horses or tables 2-5
Hot glue and glue guns
Masking tape (5-15 rolls)
Duct tape (5-10 rolls)
Staple guns and staples (especially Arrow P35 3/8 inch)
"creature staplers" and staples
Utility knives & blades (lots!)
Latex colors (no oil based) bright red, blue, yellow, black, white, brown, green, orange, purple, grey
Brushes (big and small)
Lots-o-rags and aprons
Large clean sheets, large fabric pieces-colors and white (for puppet costumes/banners)
Buckets, plastic or metal, large or small (dry)
Barrels, plastic or metal, large or small (dry)
Pots and Pans, Old brake drums, metal hand tools
Containers: plastic kitty litter tubs, cookie tins, steel cans (dry)
Beans, seeds, rice, small pasta, BB's, shot, small ball-bearings (for shakers)
Foam (for puppet shoulders and drum straps)
Small medium and large "yogurt" containers (paint and water)
Plastic trash bags
Clay (but we probably won’t have time to do clay puppets, they can take a week or more, depending)
Basic hand tools
Drop cloths to protect floor
Paper bags and newspaper
